What You Will Be Responsible For :
- Driving metrics-based management focusing on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
- Fostering effective employee relations by providing coaching and career development opportunities.
- Creating a collaborative and engaging work environment that encourages participation and ownership among team members.
- Championing a safety-first culture through regular communication and accountability measures.
- Owning continuous improvement in quality, productivity, cost, and team morale.
- Overseeing the onboarding and training processes for new hires.
- Mentoring and developing leads to align them with company objectives.
- Conducting performance management reviews for team members.
- Implementing company policies effectively to ensure employee buy-in.
- Developing corrective action plans when necessary.
- Communicating quality specifications to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Collaborating with Engineering and Quality teams for product improvements.
- Managing inventory and departmental supplies to stay within budget while meeting production demands.
- Applying Lean management principles within your unit.
- Facilitating continuous improvement efforts by gathering input from hourly workers on cost-saving initiatives.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area following 5S methodologies.
- Focusing on throughput, delivery, and cost-efficiency.
- Demonstrating a positive attitude to cultivate a metrics-driven culture.
