The Quality Assurance Director plays a vital role in shaping the quality management systems that enable our organization to reach exceptional quality standards while minimizing product defects. This position focuses on integrating all quality-related functions into a cohesive Quality System, aiding manufacturing operations to deliver outstanding products that meet customer demands at optimal costs. You will have the opportunity to develop, communicate, and oversee the execution of comprehensive quality programs for the company while leading the Quality Assurance department.

What will you do?
- Establish, implement, and uphold effective processes and practices within the quality management system to ensure that our processes achieve their intended outcomes.
- Report on the performance of the quality management system and identify improvement opportunities to the executive team.
- Champion a customer-focused approach throughout the organization.
- Maintain the integrity of the quality management system during planned changes and implementations.
- Develop and manage the implementation of policies, procedures, and practices to ensure compliance with all internal and external quality standards and specifications.
- Ensure organizational awareness and adherence to AS 9100, ISO, Nadcap, and customer requirements.
- Facilitate training and certification for employees in relevant quality assurance programs.
- Engage with key customers during quality issues and for audits and certifications.
- Provide strategic leadership for the Quality Assurance department.
- Communicate the status and performance of the quality management system, along with improvement areas, to the executive leadership.
