The Property Control Clerk is responsible for all phases of gage room operations including calibrations, receiving, storing, issuing, delivering, shipping, and disposal of property. The Property Control Clerk establishes and maintains asset management and accountability over all supplies and equipment, enforces policies and procedures regarding the proper storage and accountability of items.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure receipt of all equipment and that is accounted for, inspected, identified, properly stored and entered into gage-pack. To include resolving issues where tools become damaged or have deviations and the interactions with carriers and/or manufacturers involved.
- Manage, update & edit as necessary calibration procedures to maintain compliance with current ISO 9001 / AS9100 Standards.
- Act as the Property Control Auditor Liaison during Quality Systems Audits
- Manage Gage-Pack (gage calibration software) to ensure a complete and accurate history of calibrations, measurement equipment, and property. The software provides property location, repair, internal and external calibration recorders, and vendor’s information.
- Generate reports on certificates that are expiring, equipment coming up for calibration, and audits that are coming due using Gage-Pack and follow through to ensure they are completed on time and do not go overdue.
- Perform periodic physical inventories of customer and CPP property as required. Return or scrap obsolete property when requested by the customer or deemed necessary by CPP. Document and record the results of the inventory and the actions as a result.
- Schedule outside vendors, send equipment out, schedule layout, or maintenance to perform equipment calibrations.
- Perform calibrations internally using gage blocks, surface plates, height gages, optical comparators working with tolerances of .0005.
- Make minor repairs to gages and equipment.
- Ensure equipment and supplies are ordered to have on hand as needed.
- Need to be self-directed, developing professional contacts with vendors and outside services.
- Responsible for adherence to all safety polices, practices and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school, or six months to one year related experience with computerized inventory or receiving procedure, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents, and gage blueprints, quality manual, understanding of Database, and calibration procedures.
- Ability to calculate figures, percentages, concepts of basic algebra and geometry
- Knowledge of and the ability to use Database software (Gage-Pack), Internet software, Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Ability to climb ladders, lifting, pushing and pulling objects over 50 pounds, moving of equipment and supplies weighing up to 100 pounds. Capable of using hand tools such as pry bars, hammers and drills to uncrate received equipment. Perform calibrations on pressure and temperature gages located on equipment such as the FPI wash booths.
