About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Syracuse. As a key member of our quality department, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with customer quality expectations. Your comprehensive knowledge of quality systems, including AS9100, NADCAP, ISO17025, and A2LA, will be essential in this role.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with customer representatives to ensure technical support and direction are provided to meet their quality expectations.
- Build trust and competence with customers through Supplier Product, Systems, and Qualification Surveys.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts and promote quality excellence.
- Support the shop floor Theory of Constraints (TOC) strategy.
- Stay up-to-date with technological advances and innovative analytical systems.
- Forecast potential problem situations and suggest solutions through Risk Assessment.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Engineering or a related field.
- One to two years of related experience and/or training.
- Three to five years of work experience in an Aerospace environment, foundry, or related field.
Compensation and Benefits
The estimated salary for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a range of benefits, including paid holidays and vacation time, tuition reimbursement, and more.
