Consolidated Precision Products is looking for a this summer to help improve systems and processes within our operations. This internship will provide a deep dive into quality systems and allow you to work closely with our engineering teams while completing a hands-on improvement project during your tenure. What You Will Do :
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams : Work alongside our Engineering, Quality, and Purchasing teams, providing technical support to ensure that customer quality expectations are met.
- Customer Engagement : Develop relationships with both internal and external customers by quickly responding to queries and corrective action requests.
- Drive Continuous Improvement : Participate actively in quality initiatives and help promote excellence and teamwork across teams, contributing to process and system improvements.
- Problem Solving : Identify potential issues in processes and help suggest solutions to avoid waste and redundancy.
- Support Final Inspection Plans : Assist in the development and distribution of inspection plans and related documentation in a timely manner. What We Are Looking For :
- Basic Qualifications : Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering or a related field, with at least one to two years of coursework.
- Preferred Qualifications : Familiarity with quality systems (e.g., AS9100), Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus but not required.
- Strong Communication Skills : The ability to clearly communicate with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving Mindset : A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to think critically and independently.
