Electronics Technician and Sales Associate Job Duties
- Create customer accounts
- Build work orders
- Repair all devices (iPhones, Galaxys, Motorolas, LGs, iPads, Tabs, game systems, computers, ect.)
- Interact with customers
- Assess the problem of device and need of customer
- Give accurate quotes for special orders
- Check out customers
- Problem solve with difficult repairs/customers
- Keep customers up to date with status of repairs
- Clean back work area, clean front end (empty trash/vacuum/mop/clean glass)
- Keep the tech room, inventory system, and front end organized.
- Answer phone calls and respond to email inquiries
- Create and receive inventory using the purchase order(PO) system
- Create and package RMAs(returns)
- Perform data transfer on both Apple and Android(SD card/email) devises
- Be knowledgeable of inventory for sale
- Be knowledgeable of case/tempered glass packages
- Offer phone protection to all customers
- Sell and install phone protection
- Handle cash correctly when during sales and when opening and closing cash terminals
- Have a helpful and cheerful attitude toward customers
- Maintain a good attendance record
- Follow policies and procedures set forth by owner/management
- Work well with teammates
- And other duties as assigned or needed
Qualifications
- Hand tools proficiency
- Mechanical aptitude
- technician experience
- Strong knowledge of cell phone hardware
- Strong knowledge of cell phone software
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware
- Experience in equipment repair and maintenance
- Familiarity with computer networking
