What are the responsibilities and job description for the ACLS and BLS American Heart Association Healthcare Training Instructor position at CPR Memphis?
CPR Memphis is an American Heart Association Training site. We currently have an opening for an American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS Instructor.
All applicants must have one of the following medical licenses to apply:
Paramedic, or
Registered Nurse, NP, CRNA, or APRN (with ICU, ER, or telemetry experience)
All applicants must currently be certified in BLS and ACLS through the American Heart Association. A PALS certification is also preferred. However if you do not have a PALS certification, we will provide the PALS provider course as part of training.
Instructor Certification Requirements:
If you do not have your BLS, ACLS and PALS Instructor Certification required to teach these courses through the American Heart Association, we will provide the instructor certifications and training during orientation.
Flexible Schedule:
You will be expected to teach 5 dates per month with 2 of the 5 dates being Saturdays or Sundays. After the orientation training is completed, you will self schedule your 5 dates per month at least 12 weeks in advance. You can select more than 5 dates per month if you would like to teach more as long as you meet your 5 date/2 weekend date minimum requirement.
**NOTE: We can easily work around a full-time paramedic, nursing, etc.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $1,500.00 - $3,500.00 per month
