Project Manager
Under general direction, plans, organizes, manages, and directs the work of assigned projects in support of San Francisco Bay Ferry’s regional ferry transportation system. Serves as project manager for various capital facility projects including environmental planning and compliance, design, permitting, and construction; completes complex and technical assessments and studies and prepares written project analyses; assists in coordinating assigned activities with other SF Bay Ferry divisions, outside agencies, and the public; provides highly responsible professional assistance to the Capital Planning Manager in areas of expertise; and performs related work as required.

Any combination of training and experience that would provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required qualifications would beEducation: Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in planning, engineering, construction management, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of three (3) years of increasingly responsible experience managing the planning and development of facility and infrastructure projects.
- Experience with transportation or other public sector capital projects is highly desirable.
- Experience with applicable State regulations.
- Experience with CFR's.
License(s) and Certificate(s):
- Possession of a valid California Driver’s License and a satisfactory driving record.
- Professional registration or certification in planning, engineering, or project management preferred but not required.
