Your Mission
To provide financial, analytical, and cost accounting support to Chemical Company. Assist the ES Controller to support business KPIs and financial analysis.

Cost Accountant Minimum Requirements:
To provide financial, analytical, and cost accounting support to Chemical Company. Assist the ES Controller to support business KPIs and financial analysis.
What You Will Do...
- Perform detailed reviews and initiate corrective action to ensure accurate product costing for products in a job costing environment.
- Perform regular operational analysis to ensure accurate reporting, management attention, and corrective action development/implementation.
- Perform other financial analysis to support reporting and improvements in manufacturing efficiency, cycle counting, margin analysis, material yield, cost performance, inventory valuation, and CER investments.
- Prepare, distribute, and discuss month-end reporting and analysis for manufacturing, including cost performance, inventory management, manufacturing efficiency, and KPI performance.
- Key member of the manufacturing management teams, actively participating in manufacturing operations discussions, local safety and Kaiteki initiatives, and continuous improvement projects.
- Support financial audits, month-end closing, and other ad-hoc requests.
- Perform special analysis and projects as requested by the Controller.
- Perform special analysis and projects as requested by the plant managers and other members of the manufacturing/chemical management teams.
- Other duties as assigned.
Cost Accountant Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree* in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline required. Master's Degree* preferred. CMA or CPA certifications preferred.
- Minimum 6 years related cost accounting experience; preferred background experience to include GAAP and SOX policies and procedures, general ledger systems, auditing practices, and public accounting.
- Manufacturing/industrial experience preferred; chemical environment strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated Microsoft Office Products experience required; SAP or other enterprise systems experience preferred.
