My client, a multibillion-dollar, global chemical manufacturing company near Atlanta is recruiting for a Chemical Purchasing & Supply Chain Manager to join their dynamic team. Below is an overview:
Reporting to the Head of Global Supply Chain, this position will help shape supply chain and execute strategies. This position will focus on strategic sourcing of specialty chemicals
- Collaborate with global supply chain to set inventory strategies
- Create, implement and support sustainability goals
- Provide annual budget forecasts
- Follow and understand market trends for raw materials
- Develop and implement procurement policies and procedures to ensure best practices
Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree; prefer Masters
- 5 years of experience in a strategic sourcing role
- Experience purchasing chemicals
- Experience/exposure to green field and/or brown field projects
- Experience working with SAP MM module
This position will be onsite 5 days a week.
