- Run QC Test on batches that are made in the plant.
- Interact with Senior RD Chemist to create QC specs for materials and for guidance to get a batch in spec.
- Document all results of QC.
- Keep QC Lab clean and organized
- Responsible for retain management
- Keep QC Lab results electronically
- Know how to get batches back in color
- Be able to use X-rite color software (we can provide training but they need to have some sense of color experience)
- Notify RD if batches are regularly coming out of spec to adjust formulations so that batches come in spec
- BS in Chemistry or Related Field
- 1-3years of supporting coatings formulations in a quality lab.
