We’re looking for a skilled Retirement Plan Administrator to join our team! This is a fully remote position focused on the day-to-day administration of retirement plans, managing an assigned caseload. While this role doesn’t interface directly with clients or include management duties, it plays a vital part in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain retirement plans in compliance with IRS and DOL regulations.
- Perform and review compliance testing (e.g., Non-Discrimination, Coverage, Top Heavy).
- Reconcile contributions, assets, and loans; prepare annual valuation reports.
- Handle asset allocations for pooled profit-sharing plans and prepare required forms (5500, 8955-SSA).
- Calculate excess contributions and manage administrative tracking.
- 5 years of retirement plan administration experience.
- Strong knowledge of IRS/DOL regulations and plan types.
- Experience with FT Williams (PensionPal is a plus).
- QKA certification (preferred or obtainable).
- Exceptional problem-solving, prioritization, and organizational skills.
