My client, a growing food ingredient manufacturing company in the Fishers, IN area is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager to join their dynamic team.
Strategic Sourcing Manager – Reporting to the Vice President of Strategic Sourcing, this position will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with vendors, drive value and cost savings and implement strategic sourcing plans.
- Be involved in the development and implementation of innovative processes to drive efficiencies
- Development and implementation of category strategies
- Stay current on market trends
- Create and execute negotiation strategies
- Prepare and maintain supplier scorecards
- Vendor selection and relations
- Drive risk management/hedging for assigned categories
The ideal candidate:
- Bachelor’s Degree is required; Master’s preferred
- 5 years of experience in a strategic sourcing role
- 5 years managing packaging for a Consumer Packaged Goods Manufacturing Company. Packaging can include: cartons, corrugated, resins, foil, poly pouches, plastics, etc.
- Strong analytical skills
- Entrepreneurial spirit; self-motivated
This important, highly visible position must be in office 5 days per week. My client is offering generous compensation packaging including bonus and relocation and growth potential in a progressive environment.
Compensation: $100-125k 10-20% bonus relocation assistance
