My client, a chemical manufacturing company near Mason City, IA is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead a team of planners and oversee site manufacturing planning.
Supply Chain Manager – Reporting to the Plant Manager, this position will be responsible for the short and long term planning for the site while working collaboratively with the corporate supply chain planning team. This position will be part of the leadership team establishing planning objectives for the plant site to meet goals and customer needs.
- Oversee Production Planning and Material Planning
- Manage weekly inventory counts for materials
- Ensure production constraints are maintained
- Evaluate and recommend processes that align with day to day operations
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly KPI’s
The ideal candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred
- Experience leading a team in a supply chain manufacturing setting
- Supply Chain/Production Planning experience, S&OP / Integrated Planning experience
- Strong analytical skills
- Technically savvy- Excel, SAP, Planning Software
- Ability to influence and work with executive leadership
