We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Systems Engineer to join our growing IT team. This is a key role in ensuring the stability security and efficiency of our critical IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities :
Design implement and maintain server network and storage infrastructure.
Install configure and troubleshoot hardware and software components.
Monitor system performance identify and resolve issues proactively.
Ensure system security through implementation and maintenance of security measures (e.g. firewalls intrusion detection systems).
Participate in system upgrades and migrations.
Document system configurations and procedures.
Provide technical support to endusers.
Collaborate with other IT team members on projects and initiatives.
Stay current with the latest technologies and industry best practices.
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in systems administration or a related IT role.
Strong understanding of server operating systems (e.g. Windows Server Linux).
Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g. VMware HyperV).
Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP / IP DNS DHCP).
Experience with system monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
US Citizenship or Green Card Holder required.
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g. AWS Azure GCP).
Experience with scripting languages (e.g. Python PowerShell).
Relevant industry certifications (e.g. CompTIA Server Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer).
Experience with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
