- Provide advanced troubleshooting and end-user support – escalating to vendors only when absolutely necessary.
- Manage full application lifecycle: patching, updates, customizations (especially XML-based), and documentation.
- Coordinate testing and implementation of system upgrades; maintain licensing and version control.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to evaluate existing software for potential improvement or replacement.
- Configure and deploy updates via tools such as PDQ Connect, using Group Policy Objects (GPO) and custom XML files.
- Support hybrid infrastructure environments, especially in M365 (with an emphasis on Exchange Online) and Azure AD.

- 8 years of IT experience in application support roles – preferably in high-pressure professional services environments.
- Comfortable working closely with demanding, high-performing internal users (e.g., attorneys or executives).
- Proven ability to manage complex application environments with little to no vendor dependency.
- Demonstrated expertise in:
- Microsoft 365 suite (especially Exchange Online, Intune, Purview)
- Hybrid Azure AD environments
- PowerShell scripting, automation concepts, XML editing, and Group Policy configurations
- Capable of managing simultaneous priorities while maintaining strong documentation and operational discipline.
- Flexible, trainable, and highly collaborative, with excellent people skills and a sense of ownership.
- Prior experience in a law firm or legal services environment is a strong plus and will earn priority consideration.
Work Environment & Location
- Hybrid role – preferred candidates will be located within commuting distance of Syracuse, Buffalo, or Albany, NY.
- Other locations (e.g., Rochester or White Plains) may be considered depending on space and team fit.
- Team schedules vary: most staff are in-office 3 days per week, but remote flexibility exists depending on skills.
