We have a fantastic opportunity available for an Automation Engineer to join an innovative and fast growing CNY Manufacturing company. This is a 1st shift M-F Direct Hire Opportunity.
As an Automation Engineer you will play a key role in designing, troubleshooting, and optimizing automation systems within the manufacturing plant. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency, improve automation performance, and ensure seamless production.

Duties:
- Design & Build automation components, including robotic end-of-arm tooling, conveyors, and fixtures
- Optimize Automation Systems to enhance efficiency, quality, and performance
- Collaborate with Production & Quality Teams to troubleshoot and improve automation processes
- Provide Cost Estimates for new automation projects, partnering with Sales
- Specify & Optimize Equipment, including robots and conveyor systems
- Work Closely with Automation Technicians to ensure seamless production
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 2 years of experience with Automation Equipment OR an Associates Degree with significant related experience
- Strong Troubleshooting Skills – Ability to identify and resolve automation issues
- PLC Experience – Ability to edit and modify PLC programs
