Quality Auditor

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay Range: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

A well-established manufacturing company is seeking a Quality Auditor to inspect and verify incoming materials, ensuring they meet quality standards before use in production. This role involves conducting audits, performing measurements and tests, and maintaining accurate records to support quality assurance efforts.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, force gauges, and thread gauges.
• Verify quality documentation and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Perform visual and physical inspections to identify defects or discrepancies in raw materials and components.
• Maintain detailed inspection records, test results, and non-conformance reports.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure materials meet specifications.
• Generate rejection reports and oversee the handling of non-conforming materials.
• Collect and analyze data, recording information using SPC, SAP, and Microsoft Office.
• Ensure rejected materials are properly sorted and removed from production.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and SAP preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow quality processes.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
