CNC Programmer / Engineer (100-140K)
We have an excellent opportunity available for a CNC Programmer / Engineer to work for a leading manufacturer in the Syracuse, NY area. This is a direct hire, 1st shift M-F position.
Overview

What You’ll Do :
Develop CNC programs
Design machining methods, processes, tool sheets, and setups
Prove out programs on the shop floor & optimize machining efficiency
Support new machine implementation & automation (robotics, CNC strategy)
Improve tooling selection, cycle times, and production processes
Maintain & update legacy CNC programs as needed
Background :
5-10 years of CNC programming experience (Esprit, MasterCAM, GibbsCAM, EdgeCAM or related)
Experience with 4-5 axis mills & mill-turn lathes
Ability to lead process improvements on the shop floor
Understanding of GD&T, tooling design, and surface plate inspection
