Project Manager – Remote

Location: Remote (Occasional in-person meetings in NYC)

Duration: 1-year contract, full-time (100% FTE)

Industry: Energy Efficiency & Residential Programs

Overview:

We are seeking a Project Manager to support a statewide energy efficiency initiative focused on residential programs. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of project management experience, particularly in software and systems development, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage detailed project plans, including timelines and resources.
• Oversee software and system improvements to enhance program operations.
• Manage project communications, ensuring effective collaboration among stakeholders.
• Support meeting management, including preparation, tracking action items, and documentation.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to leadership.
• Manage system enhancement requests and release processes, including testing and execution.

Qualifications:

• 3-6 years of project management experience, preferably in software project management.
• Strong knowledge of project management principles and software development life cycles.
• Experience with DevOps, Jira, Salesforce, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple assignments.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
• Knowledge of residential energy efficiency programs is a plus.
• Education: Associate degree or higher in a relevant field. PMP certification is a plus but not required.

Additional Requirements:

• Occasional travel to NYC for in-person meetings may be required.
