Senior Financial Analyst
Hybrid position in Syracuse, NY (3 days in office, 2 days remote after training period)
Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 (based on experience)

About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive Senior Financial Analyst to support the corporate forecasting and budgeting processes for a well-established company in Syracuse. This role involves interacting with various levels of financial management, corporate accounting, and executive leadership. You’ll be responsible for ongoing financial analysis, budgeting for Cost of Goods Sold, and delivering key metrics and insights to drive business decisions.
This position is perfect for someone who can jump right in and quickly learn.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare weekly and monthly business review decks with key operating metrics
- Analyze Cost of Goods Sold, including commodities and distribution costs
- Manage the annual budgeting process
- Partner with senior finance leaders on monthly forecasting and financial performance
- Conduct detailed profitability and delivery analyses by third-party provider
- Measure the impact of pricing strategies and provide actionable insights
- Assist with monthly reporting and ad hoc research projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting roles
- Strong analytical skills and financial modeling experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work across departments and with leadership
