Clinical Staff Pharmacist - Per Diem

As a per diem, nonexempt Clinical Staff Pharmacist with CPS Solutions, LLC at San Bernardino County Department of Health, you will provide oversight of the PRP medication room, support immunization programs (i.e. COVID-19, MPX, VFC, 317), provide continuing education services, provide pharmacy related support for Communicable Diseases, and oversee the Antimicrobial Stewardship program.
Schedule: This per diem, nonexempt position will provide coverage for staff PTO and on an as needed basis, primarily Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm, with occasional evenings or weekends.
Starting Pay: $68-$75/hour based on recent work experience.
Required Qualifications:
- A Pharmacy Degree (BS or PharmD) from an accredited school of pharmacy
- Current California Pharmacist license in good standing
- Successful completion of an accredited PGY1 in Ambulatory Care or Disease Management
- Strong preference given to those who've completed PGY2 in Infectious Diseases
- At least 1 year recent pharmacist work experience
- Ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns
- Demonstrated excellent customer service skills, verbal and written
- Proficiency in computer entry including experience using computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy information systems
- Demonstrated accuracy and timeliness in a work setting
Hospital Requirements (may be required):
- (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
- (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
- Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving
- Hep B3 Series (or declination)
- (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
- COVID Vaccine-Full
