As a full time, exempt Specialty Pharmacist with CPS Solutions, LLC in our Patient Care Services Center, you are responsible for overseeing the Patient Management Program, including clinical activities and delivery of services.  In this role, working on-premise in our Dublin, OH facility, you will verify the accuracy of prescriptions and supervise pharmacy technicians who input prescription data, review medication and medical histories to ensure appropriateness of therapy and progression toward therapeutic goals, monitor for side effects and adverse reactions and counsel patients on their disease state and the appropriate use of medications.  

Schedule: This position is scheduled to work full time, 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts, primarily Monday through Friday with a 30-minute lunch break.  Occasionally you may be asked to work an evening or weekend shift based upon business needs. 

Starting Pay: $115K-$135K based on related experience. 

About the Facility: The Patient Care Service Center is a service of our expanding specialty pharmacy division. The Patient Care Service Center is located in our Dublin, Ohio location providing specialty pharmacy support to our clients and patients. The operation is located in a high-security, modern office building.  CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day-to-day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.

Required Qualifications:

• Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy; PharmD preferred
• Current Ohio Pharmacist license in good standing and willingness to obtain at least 5 pharmacist state licenses (and up to a total of 10 licenses) within first year on the job
• CPS reimburses for the cost of the license and pays the annual renewals 
• Successful completion of a Pharmacy Practice Residency program strongly preferred
• Recent work experience as a Pharmacist
• Preference will be given to those with Specialty Pharmacy medication, pre-authorization and payor experience
• Ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns
• Demonstrated accuracy and timeliness in a work setting
• Experience using computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy information systems
• Effective communications skills; verbal and written 
   

Specialized Knowledge/Skills

• Independence with regards to clinical discussions and evaluations
• Ability to use pharmaceutical and medical references literature to provide drug information to health plans, patients, and prescribers
• Fluency to speak a second language preferred
• Management skills preferred
