Staff Pharmacist - Per Diem

As a per diem, nonexempt CPS Solutions, LLC Staff Pharmacist at Mesilla Valley Hospital, you will fill orders with accuracy; check technician-prepared products before release; maintain security of pharmacy and controlled substances; enter orders and patient information with accuracy; aid in the training of new staff; update the Director about the daily activities of the pharmacy; and aid the Director in maintaining the pharmacy.
Schedule: This per diem position will provide coverage primarily weekends and occasionally weekdays. Pharmacy hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00am-4:00pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00am-12:00noon.
Starting Pay: $55-$65/hour based on recent experience.
About the Facility: Mesilla Valley Hospital is a 120-bed psychiatric and detox facility that overlooks the city of Las Cruces. The grounds around the hospital are attractively landscaped for general outdoor activities and the facility includes special areas for patient activities: a multipurpose room, gymnasiums, ropes courses, outdoor swimming pool and tennis court, computer lab, classrooms, and activity therapy rooms. The hospital provides services to adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day-to-day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.
About the Pharmacy: This centralized pharmacy utilizes HCS and operating hours follow the schedule above.
Hospital Requirements (may be required):
- (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
- (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
- Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving
- Hep B3 Series (or declination)
- (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
- COVID Vaccine-Full
