Outpatient Pharmacy Technician - Per Diem Methodist Northlake Outpatient Pharmacy Gary, Indiana As a per diem , non-exempt CPS Solutions, LLC Pharmacy Technician , you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; performing order entry; procuring drugs; billing. You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements. Schedule: This position provides time off coverage "as needed" and does not have any regularly scheduled hours; with a minimum of 4 hours per month. Starting Pay: $17 - $19 per hour, (Depending on related work experience).

Northlake is the urban campus in Gary while Southlake Campus in Merrillville is located near one of the Midwest’s busiest retail areas. Combined campus bed capacity is 625 plus nurseries. Midlake Campus is the outpatient facility in Gary, conveniently located between the Northlake and Southlake campuses. This outpatient clinic pharmacy is located within Methodist Hospital Northlake on the 1st floor in close proximity to the main entrance and Emergency Department. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day-to-day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC. About the Pharmacy: This pharmacy will service discharged Methodist Hospital inpatients, Methodist Hospital outpatients and employees and will have an active 340B program, administer vaccinations, utilizes ePrescribe, performs patient chart reviews and medication therapy management, along with some compounding. The pharmacy hours are Monday-Friday 9a-7p and Saturday 9a-3p. Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Recent experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy
• Indiana Li censure/Registration/Certification requirements
• Proficient computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office
• Effective communications skills; verbal and written

Hospital Requirements: (may be required)

• (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
• (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
• Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving
• Hep B3 Series (or declination)
• (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1 st -April 30 th
• COVID Vaccine
