What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Sanitation Manager position at CPS?
The Senior Sanitation Manager will provide leadership to direct and support the team and processes required within the sanitation area of our food manufacturing plant. Other duties and responsibilities will include :
- Provide leadership to implement successfully SQF Level III certification
- Adhere to GMPs and FDA regulations as well as maintain GMP provisions over and above the standards for Safe Quality Food
- Maintain detailed record keeping for all regulatory audits
- Develop strategic systems, partnerships and provide necessary training and leadership for growth of sanitation team members. Write and submit monthly sanitation report to Plant Manager
- Understand, maintain inventory, and have knowledge of chemicals used in the cleaning and sanitation process
- Source and make recommendations on purchasing new products
- Understand the manufacturing process and equipment parts / systems in order to ensure proper equipment sanitation and efficient line startups
- Manage labor and expenses to meet or exceed budgets
