Position Overview: MECO Engineering is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our team. This role will involve designing and managing complex water and wastewater projects, working closely with clients, and ensuring all project deliverables meet the highest standards. The ideal candidate will be a skilled communicator, able to navigate client interactions and project management duties effectively, while also providing guidance and mentorship to junior engineers within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and manage water and/or wastewater projects, ensuring technical excellence and client satisfaction.
- Attend necessary meetings and maintain effective communication between the firm and clients.
- Collaborate with team members and work independently to meet project deadlines.
- Ensure projects stay on schedule, meet client expectations, and progress effectively.
Qualifications:
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Missouri or eligibility to obtain registration within approximately 2 years.
- Significant design experience in water and/or wastewater engineering.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication abilities, essential for client interaction and project management.
- Driven, self-motivated personality with a focus on achieving project goals.
