We are looking for a Land Surveying Field Technician to join our team! No prior experience is required—we will provide on-the-job training under the guidance of a Registered Professional Land Surveyor (PLS). This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors, is eager to learn, and is looking for a career in land surveying.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist with topographic and boundary surveys alongside experienced professionals.
- Learn to use, transfer, and maintain survey equipment and supplies.
- Help with note-taking and transferring field data to the computer.
- Identify job hazards and report them to the crew chief.
- Receive training to operate field survey equipment and software.
- Wear branded safety shirts and appropriate PPE when working on-site.
- Work on projects including:
- Public works infrastructure
- Private property boundary surveys
- Land development and subdivision
- Construction staking and more

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Basic computer and calculator literacy.
