Job Summary:
The Loan Administrator will be responsible for providing administrative support to the commercial loan and letter of credit activities. This will include managing client relationships, maintaining accurate records, and facilitating transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Act as point of contact for client or agent bank accounts within their assigned portfolio.
- Credit Authorization: Maintains and establishes credit authorizations, fee accrual schedules and loan templates consistent with ALTAR closing request and credit agreements.
- Payment Instruction Management: Maintains client standard payment instructions in ACBS for authorizations in their respective portfolio.
- Transaction Monitoring: Review maturity report to identify transactions maturing within five business days, and initiate appropriate rollover paydown operation.
- Liaison with Internal Teams: Liaise with CA-CIB dollar (Blofi) and currency desks, as required, for funding of commercial loans.
- Record Keeping: Maintain up to date operations file with supporting documentation.
- Clearing and Settlement: Clear open items and daily exceptions in conjunction with CBO supervisors.
- Follow-up on Late Payments: Follow-up late payments, missing interest and/or fees with clients or agent banks, as required.
- Notice and Confirmation: Ensure client and participant notices/confirmations (loans, interest and/or fees) are completed and forwarded in a timely manner to clients within their portfolio as needed.
- Funding Memo Preparation: Liaise with the Commercial Groups in preparing Funding Memos for assignments and ensure this information is correctly entered into ACBS.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree: Bachelors degree
- Experience with ACBS: Experience with ACBS
- Syndications and Agency Loans: 3 years of syndications and agency loan experience
- Supply Chain Processing: Some experience with Supply Chain Processing preferred
- Excel and Word Skills: Excel and Word skills
