What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Wax Esthetician position at CRÈME + HONEY™ WAX SALON?
CRÈME HONEY® Wax Salon in Fayetteville, NC is looking for one licensed wax esthetician to join our 11 person strong team. We are located on 2625 Raeford Rd. Our ideal candidate is enthusiastic, punctual, and hard-working.
Role: Licensed Wax Esthetician
Reports To: Manager
Hours: Part Time, Varies
Wax estheticians are expected to embody company goals and values and be enthusiastic and passionate about Crème Honey Wax Salon, our employees and customers. We operate by appointments so timeliness and attendance is paramount.
Duties:
-thorough and proper sanitation of room and utensils
-speed wax and sugar customers (face and body, including males and male brazilians) in a timely and thorough manner, *completing male brazilians is a job requirement
-have pleasant and respectful interactions with customers, team members and management
-adherence to all State Board protocols, company policies and work requests from management
-maintain cleanliness and organization of facility
-explain aftercare and educate customers on waxing
-pay attention to and keep up with the day’s schedule and changes
-review each and every customer intake form and consult customers/ask them about their skin and health before waxing and manage customer expectations of what we can and cannot do
-arrive at least 15 minutes before scheduled shift to prep room
-thoroughly clean room and have it inspected after last customer
-stay at work for your entire scheduled shift if need be and afterwards for clean up
Other Duties include but are not limited to:
-understanding that the company is relatively new and our environment is fluid and ever-changing
-maintain your license and continued learning with State Board
-cover shifts if team members are sick or have emergencies as well as making up shifts you missed for the same reason if need be
-communicate openly and honestly with management regarding, but not limited to, the following: less than desirable outcomes with customers or teammates, stressors or tensions that arise, feedback received from customers, support or training that you need, ideas that would improve the business, etc.

-train team members
-being open and enthusiastic about daily and longer-term changes
-helping and assisting with any and all other salon operations
