Drive Health and Care Forward! Join our team as a Delivery Driver! CarePro Home Infusion Cedar Rapids has an immediate opening for a part-time Delivery Driver to join our team! In this role, you will deliver medications and supplies to patients using a company vehicle, ensuring timely service while adhering to compliance and privacy guidelines. You will also maintain a clean and well-kept vehicle, and practice safe driving at all times. This part-time opportunity is scheduled for 12 pm to 5 pm Monday thru Friday (approx. 25 hours per week). What Youll Do : Deliver equipment, supplies, and medications to Company patients according to a scheduleAssemble coolers for shipmentPackage and ship products via UPS or FedExLoad, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate Company vehicleFollow Company, State, and Federal compliance guidelines for the safe handling and delivery of medical equipment, supplies, and medicineMaintain a log of all deliveries attempted or made, obtain asignature from an authorized individual when making deliveries, and promptly submit all delivery ticketsSubmit documentation regarding discrepancies, complaints, or service requests to the appropriate staff person within the required time frameAssist with functional testing of IV pumpsMaintain accurate records of completed and scheduled vehicle maintenanceClean dirty coolers and other equipmentMaintain neat, clean, and safe Company vehicleAdhere to all Company policies and procedures regarding safety, security, and patient confidentialityMaintain regular attendance and punctuality according to your assigned schedule What Were Looking For : High school diploma or equivalent (GED)Must possess a valid driver's license and be insurableProven working experience as a delivery driverClean driving record and knowledge of local and regional service areasAbility to read maps and / or use available resources to locate delivery addressesCritical thinking and problem-solving skills are necessary Post-offer, pre-employment background checks, reference checks, a drug screen, a physical agility test, and a TB test are required.
