J-TEC has immediate openings for full-time and part-time Electronics Assembly Specialists to join our team! In this role, you will assemble electronics by building circuit boards, wiring, soldering, and testing subassemblies, following production drawings, procedures, and workmanship standards for designated product lines.
This position is scheduled between 7 : 00 AM and 3 : 30 PM Monday through Friday and may include occasional second shift and / or weekend hours.

What youll be doing : Perform military and commercial grade hand soldering for through-hole and surface mount circuit boards, wiring, and other electronic assembliesPerform standard assembly functions in accordance with established production drawings, procedures, and military workmanship standardsPerform repair operations as neededApply paint and circuit board conformal coating to products in paint boothPerform self-inspection of work accomplished to assure compliance with production drawings, write-ups, and workmanship standardsPerform changes or modifications per documented change or verbal instructionsMeet deadlines of production tasksKeep worksite clean to avoid hazards and follow Company safety and quality guidelinesMaintain regular attendance and punctuality according to assigned scheduleOther duties as needed or required What were looking for : High school graduate or equivalent (GED)Proven experience in electronic assembly or related fieldWiring and soldering experience for circuit boards and other electronics components required Must possess basic knowledge of electronic components and equipment Have ability to read and interpret circuit diagrams, assembly drawings, and proceduresRequires specific visual abilities including close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus, and ability to identify and distinguish colorsRequires ability to use basic hand toolsexperience with high-volume, low pressure spray painting and / or conformal coating a plusMust be able to lift 10 lbs.
