What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Project Manager, Planning & Engineering position at CRAA Columbus Regional Airport Authority?

Your “Take Off” will be successful by doing the following with excellence:
- Supervises and coordinates with engineers, architects, surveyors, and contractors in all phases and aspects of project development and execution.
- Coordinates project design, construction, and permitting with internal CRAA stakeholders, airport tenants, and outside agencies.
- Conducts and attends meetings and disseminates and manages information.
- Ensures compliance with specifications and timely completion of projects.
- Executes disciplined approach and standards for project communications, resource planning and issue resolution processes to ensure success. May work with cross-functional teams.
- Prepares for and leads meetings including pre-bid, pre-construction, and stakeholder progress.
- Makes submissions, manages information, and provides updates in with project management software, including funding, budget, scheduling, contracts, task orders, change orders, pay applications, invoices, and purchase orders.
- Performs budget and contract management to ensure projects stay within budget and contract amounts.
- Coordinates, investigates, and assists other CRAA departments, government agencies, utility companies, and area developers with questions and information requests.
- Provides risk and dispute management during all phases of design and construction.
- Performs related work as required.
Your “Landing” will be smooth if you meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum seven (7) years of previous construction project management experience. Or equivalent education and years of experience.
- Extensive knowledge of building and civil construction techniques and construction contracts, required.
- Must possess and maintain a valid Ohio driver’s license, in good standing
- Project Management Professional (PMP), preferred
- Professional Engineer (PE), preferred
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug test, which includes testing for marijuana (medical marijuana cards are not acceptable)
