Our catering team is growing and we are seeking to add an experienced leader to lead our Key Accounts program and Catering Sales Managers!
This role will lead a team of more than 20 sales professionals, setting and driving sales goals for individual and key accounts. You will work cross-functionally with the marketing team, operations, and executive leadership to develop and implement strategies that maximize catering sales opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of achieving sales targets, excellent leadership skills, and a strong understanding of the restaurant industry.
Responsibility
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy including prioritizing target markets, defining key accounts, and identifying potential new catering opportunities.
- Set and achieve sales goals while monitoring performance and implementing initiatives to drive revenue growth.
- Build and maintain key accounts by cultivating relationships with existing partners and identifying potential new business opportunities.
- Recruit, train, and motivate a high-performing sales team.
- Provide guidance and support to the sales team in achieving their individual and team goals.
- Work closely with culinary, operations, and strategic sourcing teams to ensure seamless execution of catering events.
- Coordinate with marketing and communications teams to develop compelling sales collateral and promotional materials.
Qualifications
Experience and Education• Bachelor’s Degree in Restaurant/Hospitality Management, Business, or equivalent field; MBA preferred• Experience leading a team of sales professionals wti a proven track record of achieving results.
Knowledge and Skills
• Strong understanding of the restaurant industry, including food and beverage operations, catering trends, and consumer preferences.
• Excellent sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to close deals and achieve sales targets.
• Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel as needed to meet with key accounts and support catering sales team.
Work Environment
• Travel up to 25%• Open to remote or Hybrid, Mix of onsite and remote work
