Crafco, Inc. has an opening for a District Sales Manager in the State of Texas.
Full-time sales management professional wanted. This is a remote position that will require living within the State of Texas. Strong base salary w/ bonus potential and profit sharing! The District Sales Manager, with the direction of the Regional Sales Manager, assists with supporting all sales functions of Crafco manufactured pavement preservation products, and other manufacturers' product lines available for sale, in the State of Texas. The District Manager cultivates relationships and provides support to any/all regional; distributors, re-sellers, supply centers and Territory Managers with the objective of increasing sales and profit margins while delivering an outstanding customer experience. Activities may include but not limited to: territory planning/management, sales forecasting, budgeting, monitoring regional competition and pricing, conducting product and/or equipment demonstrations, providing training, analyzing data to make informed business decisions, and providing field sales support, as needed. The District Sales Manager will also be responsible for their own sales territory, maintaining existing customers and creating new customers and business opportunities for our highway and bridge pavement preservation materials and the equipment to apply them.

The qualified applicant will be required to have outside sales experience, applicable physical capabilities to perform equipment demonstrations, and frequently travel within the territory as needed. Requirements for the District Manager include:
- 5 years selling skills and outside sales experience required (government contract and bid experience a plus)
- Previous sales supervisory/management experience desired
- A minimum of two years of experience in the pavement or bridge maintenance industry preferred (or related fields such as construction, asphalt, concrete, chemicals, etc.)
- Previous experience selling equipment, or familiarity with construction equipment sales a plus!
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite - Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, etc.
- Practical presentation skills with both large groups and individuals
- Enjoy working with, and a genuine desire to support our customers
- Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills
- Valid US Driver's license, and clean, insurable driving record
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent outside sales experience is required
- Be competent to properly and effectively operate all IT devices provided
- Be competent to make travel arrangements in an organized and fiscally responsible manner including; hotel, air travel, car rental etc.
- Maintain a personal credit card with a minimum available credit of $5000 for use on business expenses prior to reimbursement
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role such as sitting, standing, or driving for long periods of time, or all day. Work outside on projects as needed, sometimes in hot, cold, and/or adverse conditions. Lift 50 pounds or more without assistance, bend, squat, etc.
- Be available to travel and perform duties during daytime, evenings, nights and weekends as required to perform the job - 50% overnight travel may be expected
