Crafco, Inc. has an opening for an IT Helpdesk Technician located at the corporate office in Chandler, Arizona.
Come join our team, as an IT Helpdesk Technician! This role is responsible for assisting users with technical issues and providing the first level of care for all IT-related subjects. The IT Helpdesk / Technician will be responsible for installations, maintenance and repair work on any computer-related equipment that supports the business from laptops, desktops, communications equipment (digital & IP phones), tablets, smart phones, printers, local area networks, wide area networks, any piece of computer related peripheral or software an end-user would be using. An IT technician must perform the majority of the mentioned tasks while providing a high level of customer service to the user.

IT Helpdesk / Technician duties include but are not limited to the following and may change over time :
Specific Duties :
Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
Respond to queries either in person, email, or over the phone.Open and Close tickets via Track-It helpdesk ticketing system.The technician will be utilizing RDS session and LogMe-In tools.Monitoring and maintaining technology for maximum access, this includes :Connecting and setting up hardware
Installing workstationsLoading all necessary softwareProviding network access and connectivity to the staffTroubleshooting all issues in a timely mannerMaintaining IP addressesMaintaining a list of necessary maintenance and repairsResearching both current and potential services and resourcesIdentifying and preparing hardware for safe disposalEnsuring hardware is secured and stripped before disposalSetup / maintain / Terminate user accounts and passwordsEnsuring technology is equipped with the latest hardware and software and is accessible, where the main activities are :Familiarity with network operating systems, software, and hardware
Work within a ticketing system and create documentation for new processesProvide individual support and training upon requestProvide recommendations about support and information accessMaintain an updated inventory of software, hardware and resourcesDemonstrate aptitude for continuous learning and innovative thinkingAble to work independently and in a team environmentStrong written, oral and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate with outside vendors and internal staffCreate and maintain HowTo materialsPerforming any other IT related duties during working hours and when necessary, sometimes after hours on-call work.Microsoft 2008 & 2012 Windows Servers, and 10 operating systems
Microsoft Office 365, including Microsoft Exchange, Outlook email client, and Share PointQualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related, OR equivalent work experienceMinimum 2 years' related experienceExperience with computers and servers or at least MCSE qualificationExperience with or understanding of PC, laptops, and network hardwareExperience with hands-on hardware troubleshootingExperience with equipment supportWorking technical knowledge of the latest operating systems, network protocols and standardsAbility to read all relevant documents, including OEM guides, procedural documentation and technical manuals with understanding and comprehensionAbility to use peripheral accessories, components and other related toolsAbility to perform relevant researchSolutions-oriented team playerAbility to perform tasks, solve problems and work well under pressureResourceful, able to find solutions to projects and problemsAttention to detail and listening skillsAbility to multi-task and handle multiple projects / tasksA good understanding of the organization's objectivesGood interpersonal and relationship-building skillsGood customer-service orientationDisplay and encourage a positive attitudeValid US Driver's license, and clean driving recordAbility for travel, as neededAbility to meet the physical requirements of the role such as : sitting, squatting, standing, or in awkward positions for long periods of time, or all day.
