We are seeking a diligent 1st Class Ship Fitter to join our team in Kittery, Maine.

Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate, align, and assemble structural parts such as plates, bulkheads, and frames.
- Tack weld clips and brackets in place prior to permanent welding.
- Demonstrate solid understanding of shipbuilding and/or manufacturing processes.
- Accurately perform layout, cutting with a torch, metric measuring, and structurally fitting processes.
Requirements
- 5 years of 1st class marine shipfitting experience.
- Experience performing multi-pass tack welding.
- Able to use oxygen/propane burning and heating torches.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to read blueprints.
- Able to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds on your own.
- Pass a 10-Panel drug screen and background check.
