We partner with businesses as well as jobseekers to place individuals into positions efficiently. We are currently in need of a Marine Blaster to join our team in Newport News, VA.
Job Description :
- Clean and prepare surfaces using methods such as sandblasting, water blasting, or chemical treatment to remove old paint, rust, dirt, grease, and other contaminants.
- Mask and cover surfaces not to be painted.
- Apply primers or sealers to prepare new surfaces for painting.
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired color and consistency.
- Apply paint using brushes, rollers, or spray guns.
- Follow safety procedures and always wear protective gear.
- Inspect surfaces before and after blasting and painting to ensure quality standards are met.
- Clean and maintain painting and blasting equipment.
