Kamon Craft Cocktail Bar is a Japanese-owned elevated cocktail bar specializing in Asian -inspired cocktails and cuisine. We take pride in delivering exceptional service rooted in Omotenashi—the art of hospitality. We are seeking a skilled and composed Bar Host to manage reservations, guest flow, and seating assignments with precision and professionalism.

What We’re Looking For:

The ideal candidate is highly organized, personable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You must be comfortable using OpenTable to manage and seat guests according to reservations, ensuring a seamless experience. Conflict resolution skills are essential, as handling occasional guest concerns regarding seating is a key part of the role. Additionally, you’ll assist with running food and drinks as needed to support the team.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Manage and seat reservations using OpenTable, ensuring guests are seated in the correct order and at their assigned tables
✔ Communicate effectively with servers and bartenders to maintain a smooth service flow
✔ Resolve seating concerns professionally and efficiently, maintaining our high standard of hospitality
✔ Assist with running food and drinks when needed
✔ Create a warm and welcoming first impression for guests
✔ Maintain a calm and composed demeanor under pressure

Qualifications & Skills:

✔ Strong familiarity with OpenTable (or ability to learn quickly)
✔ Exceptional organization and multitasking skills
✔ Ability to handle guest concerns with professionalism and diplomacy
✔ Experience in high-end hospitality preferred
✔ Strong teamwork and communication skills
✔ Knowledge of Japanese culture or language is a plus

✔Adhere to laws and standards including Food handlers card, responsible beverage service and harrasment training
