PrePress Graphic Designer Job Responsibilities :
A PrePress Graphic Designer is responsible for the accuracy and quality of an artwork file before it is sent to the production team for direct-to-beverage can digital printing as well as the printing and organization of customer sample proofs which is imperative to our production process.
PrePress Graphic Designer Job Duties :
Create and manipulate designs through Adobe Creative Suite apps
Review customer-submitted artwork files and format to CBW requirements
Troubleshoot any production or color-related issues with internal teams
Assist customers in producing graphics for CBW’s digital printing process
Review and proof graphic materials before approving for production
Follow a product workflow and timeline to ensure designs progress in a timely manner
Assist production team with the quality assurance process
Gain an understanding of the production process and assist as needed
Other duties as required or assigned
PrePress Graphic Designer Job Requirements :
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communications, Graphic Design, Print Design, or related field
Strong knowledge of the digital print process, Adobe Creative Cloud Products, and preflighting tools
Strong time management, organizational, and multitasking skills
Creative and innovative thinking skills with a STRONG attention to detail
Excellent written / verbal communication and people skills
Appetite to continually learn and grow
PrePress Graphic Designer Preferred Qualifications :
Craving to work in a fast-paced environment for a growing, entrepreneurial company
Prior experience as a production artist, graphic designer, or related role
Experience with ecommerce platforms
Any other vocational training or qualification is a plus
