Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and support the Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, and Invoice Reconciliation teams
- Oversee daily closing, reconciliation, and cash requirements processes
- Prepare and post month-end adjusting entries for financial close
- Reconcile and analyze balance sheet accounts monthly, including all intercompany transactions
- Prepare and submit Alcohol Excise Tax Reports
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, and year-end) in accordance with GAAP
- Supervise the workflow of a five-person accounting team
- Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies and procedures
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting-related issues
- Partner with IT to address technology needs of the accounting department
- Manage staffing needs, including recruitment, hiring, and performance evaluations
- Work with internal and external accountants for year-end close and audits
- Develop the annual accounting department budget and conduct monthly variance analysis
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Relevant work experience in accounting or financial management
- Strong leadership and management experience
- Exceptional organizational and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel

- Occasional standing or walking to retrieve documents
- Proficient typing and mouse usage for data entry and analysis
