Senior Prouduct Development Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Product Development Engineer with extensive NPI experience to lead the design, development, and launch of new products.

Our offices are located 20 minutes north of Seattle, and we are open to relocating top talent with NPI experience.

Position Overview:

You will work cross-functionally to ensure our products meet market needs, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. You will also serve as the primary technical contact for customers, resolving complex challenges, providing product updates, and representing the company at industry events. This role involves managing the full product development process, from concept to market introduction, ensuring innovation and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead product design and development based on Voice of Customer research, customer feedback, and internal ideation.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely, cost-effective product development and launches.
• Collaborate with marketing, manufacturing, external vendors, and quality teams to create engineering specifications, prototypes, and testing procedures.
• Conduct rigorous testing and validation to ensure products meet functionality, safety, and performance standards.
• Build strong relationships with customers, providing technical updates, troubleshooting, and driving product improvements.
• Drive continuous innovation by exploring new technologies, materials, and designs to improve product efficiency and quality.
• Represent the company at industry events, ensuring products align with market trends and regulatory requirements.
  
  

What We Need From You:

• 7 years of experience in thermodynamics and product development, with a focus on heat transfer systems.
• 5 years of experience leading product design and development projects, with a track record of successful product launches.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  
  

We'd Be Delighted if You Have:

• Experience working with heat transfer products and regulatory standards.
• Familiarity with presenting at industry events or participating in technical product demonstrations.
• Industry knowledge of LPG Vaporizers, gas systems, or other thermodynamic products.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and standards.
• Knowledge of Voice of Customer research and market analysis to guide product development.
• Experience with Industry Regulations such as ASME and NFPA.
