They are seeking a Lead Controls Estimator to develop accurate project estimates, collaborate with internal teams and clients, and drive strategic pricing for building automation and control system projects.

- Develop and deliver accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for building automation and control system projects.
- Serve as Bid Captain, driving estimate development and aligning bid strategy with project objectives and client priorities.
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, and operations teams to align estimates with client needs and project feasibility.
- Conduct thorough cost analysis, risk assessments, and value engineering to optimize project pricing.
- Prepare detailed project proposals, ensuring estimates are clear, competitive, and aligned with company objectives.
- Stay up to date with market pricing trends, labor rates, and industry standards to ensure competitive estimates.
- Build strong client and vendor relationships to enhance bid competitiveness and project execution.
- 10 years of commercial estimating or preconstruction experience in the construction industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field (preferred).
- Strong background in design/build and plan/spec estimating for commercial HVAC and control systems.
- Experience in estimating across multiple market sectors, including commercial office, healthcare, hospitality, education, high-rise residential, biotech, and government.
- Advanced knowledge of estimating strategies, techniques, and cost modeling.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple bids simultaneously, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
- Competitive Salary $120,000 to $170,000 annually.
