About the Role :
As a Principal Software Engineer, you'll be trained in our state of the art software platform, both from a customer perspective and from a functionality / codebase perspective. You'll be in charge of building and maintaining UI and UX using single page applications (SPA framework) with tools like Svelte and Ember.js. You’ll also be working with Spring framework using the latest versions of Java, PostgreSQL and other technologies. We are located in Dallas, TX. You'll be a HANDS-ON engineering team leader who will code, grow the team, and mentor more junior developers. As a member of our Development team, you'll be working on exciting new features, product updates, and enhancements. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of different modules and projects within the organization and see new products come to life.
This role has a direct career path to Director of Engineering.
Responsibilities :
- You are a stellar programmer who can read and understand complex code & system architecture and quickly onboard and solo contribute new exiting features
- Expertise and minimum 10 years of experience working with Java in the context of web applications with a solid working knowledge of Spring framework
- Excellent proficiency and minimum 10 years working with SPA frameworks such as Ember.js React, or Svelte
- Minimum 10 years of working with PostgreSQL or other relational databases
- You are a great manager who can join & integrate well with an existing, extremely high-powered software development team, and increase the team 2-fold
- Must be located within commuting distance to our office in Farmers Branch
