Responsibilities
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner.
- Ensure that all orders are accurate and meet the restaurant's quality standards.
- Assist servers by providing support during busy service periods.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management regarding order status and any special requests.
- Handle food items safely and adhere to food handling guidelines.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down banquet events as needed.
- Provide excellent guest services by responding promptly to customer inquiries or requests.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with culinary practices, food preparation, and handling is a plus.
- Experience with POS systems is advantageous for efficient order processing.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
