What are the responsibilities and job description for the FG Handler position at CraftMark Bakery, LLC?
The Finished Goods Handler safely uses a forklift to move product into storage area or in position for shipping. Work is typically completed in a cold/refrigerated space.
Essential Functions
- Put finished good pallets away into storage racks
- Pull orders for shipments
- Take cycle count inventories
- Maintain required paperwork
- Report any mechanical problems to supervisor and Maintenance
- Work safely
- Maintain up to date knowledge of machinery in work area
- Keep work area clean and free of debris
- Other duties as assigned
- Comply with all safety policies, procedures and good work practices
- Participates in audits where assigned (Safety, GMP, 5S, etc.)

The employee is occasionally required to sit; or balance; and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, working Days, 5:00 am - 5:00 pm 2-2-3 rotation schedule. Overtime and weekend work may be required.
Required Education and Experience
- Minimum of 2 Years of Forklift experience
- Experience in a Freezer/Cold storage environment preferred
The employee will follow all food safety policies and requirement:
- Will follow established programs, policies and practices to produce safe quality foods that meet regulatory and company requirements.
- Will support the development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the CraftMark Bakery Food Safety and Quality Systems.
- Will be accountable to the CraftMark Bakery Manufacturing Food Safety and Quality Principles.
