Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator with their own vehicle to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the pre-construction phase, providing accurate estimates for various construction projects. This position requires strong analytical skills, a thorough understanding of construction processes, and the ability to negotiate effectively with clients and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project plans and specifications to develop accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment.
• Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to gather necessary information for estimating.
• Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather data that may impact the estimate.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders outlining estimated costs and potential risks.
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and techniques to enhance estimating accuracy.

Skills

• Must have valid driver's license and own vehicle preferably a work truck or van.
• Strong understanding of construction management principles and practices.
• Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships with clients and vendors.
• Must be able to climb ladders And take pictures while on roof.
• Effective project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail with strong analytical skills for data interpretation.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
