Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Payroll PeopleSoft Analyst with over 10 years of expertise in supporting PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) modules (versions 9.1 and 9.2) in large government or private sector IT organizations in the USA. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Payroll processing, benefits, reporting, and external interface requirements, along with strong business analysis and customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide business analysis support for Payroll and Benefits processes using PeopleSoft HCM (9.1 and 9.2).
- Develop functional specifications to enhance Payroll and Benefits processes and improve departmental efficiency.
- Collaborate with development teams to present business requirements, test solutions, and validate functionality.
- Conduct Payroll processing and reporting, including W2, State, Federal, FLSA compliance, and Benefits enrollment.
- Maintain Payroll and Benefits-related PeopleSoft product tables.
- Develop queries and reports using SQL, SQR, XML Publisher, and Crystal Reports.
- Support external interface requirements and assist Query Manager team leaders with Payroll processing and testing.
- Provide Helpdesk support for the organization’s HR applications for Payroll and Benefits modules.
- Ensure proper documentation and maintain high-quality business requirements documentation.
- Deliver training and knowledge transfer sessions to internal staff members.
Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting PeopleSoft HCM modules (9.1 and 9.2) in large IT organizations.
- Strong knowledge of Payroll processing, benefits enrollment, and reporting requirements (W2, State, Federal, FLSA).
- Proficiency in SQL, SQR, XML Publisher, and Crystal Reports.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle databases (latest versions).
- Excellent communication, documentation, and customer service skills.
- Ability to provide effective Helpdesk support and resolve application-related issues.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
- Team-oriented, self-motivated, and business-oriented mindset.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with training and knowledge transfer sessions for internal staff.
- Experience with Benefits and Payroll-related system upgrades and patches.
Job Types: Contract, Temporary
Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour
