The Prism Design Studio team supports Crafton Tull projects, along with their own. Projects range in size and type, but have a focus on community spaces, urban places, land planning, recreational spaces, and housing.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Professional degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited college or university; and three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Certification as Registered Landscape Architect licensed to practice in Arkansas and able to become certified in other states as required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively and present to public groups, clients, and company events.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to apply concepts such as averages, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to utilized and understand geometric principles.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
COMPUTER SKILLS: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software, Design software, Internet software, Spreadsheet software, and Word Processing software. (Microsoft Office Suite, Land F/X, Adobe Creative Suites, Sketch Up, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam).
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a valid driver license.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include The Following
- Explore and research Landscape Architecture case studies to develop strong conceptual ideas.
- Assist in providing design support to all company offices.
- Sketch and provide project layouts in collaboration with Landscape Architects, Engineers, and Surveyors.
- Prepare schematic design drawings, renderings, construction drawings, and detailed documentation, including:
- Landscape Plans
- Hardscape Plans
- Land Use Plans
- Master Plans
- Tree Preservation Plans
- Construction Details
- Irrigation Plans
- Provide graphic plans and precedent imagery using Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
- Research local codes and ordinances for site development feasibility.
- Work with Landscape Architects on project programming, schematic design, design development, and construction documents.
- Project coordination with multi-disciplinary teams (internal and external)
- Prepare preliminary cost estimates as directed by the Project Manager
- Review reports and documents from other consultants.
- Make site visits, meet with clients, and public meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
