Carpenter helper and Project Lead Carpenter

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Carpenter Helper and Project lead carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter Helper, you will assist skilled carpenters in various construction and installation tasks. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the carpentry field while contributing to a variety of projects, including all phases of residential remodeling. Likewise, as a project lead carpenter, a qualified applicant would be taking control and efficiently executing a project from start to finish.

Duties (helper)

• Assist carpenters with demolition, installation of framing, plumbing, insulation, drywall, trim, flooring, tile, cabinetry, and painting.
• Operate basic tools and equipment safely
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency on the job site.

Duties (lead)

• Have the ability to efficiently and safely execute various residential remodeling projects from start to finish, including, but not limited to bathroom, remodels kitchen, remodels, and basement remodeling.

• be extremely well-versed in all aspects of the trades, including reading blueprints, calculating, and ordering materials,Dealing with Township authorities as necessary, plumbing, framing, insulation, drywall, trim, cabinetry Install and flooring

Requirements

• Previous experience or knowledge in carpentry or construction is preferred but not mandatory for helpers. As a lead carpenter, a minimum of five years experience is required.
• Familiarity with installation techniques for various materials, including wood, drywall, and tile is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings is beneficial As a helper and required as a lead
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.
• Willingness to learn new skills related to carpentry and construction processes.
• A valid driver's license is required for travel between job site. As well as a vehicle. As a lead carpenter, a work truck or a van would be required.

Pay: $18.00 - $35.00 per hour
